The aroma is a bit neutral but has notes of caramel and hops. The flavour is smooth and mild with light notes of roasted malt, licorice and a nice bitterness, that isn’t overwhelmingly strong. A nice bitter found in Scotland 2004. Bov (5478), Bienne, Switzerland

Zero aroma, and i literally mean zero, i gave the aroma score an extra mark, because it wasn’t offensive. Classic creamy ’Guinness-style’ creamy head. Sweet and creamy, very short on the palate, quite thin, with some bittering hops, i reckon it would be OK, if they didn’t use the nitro-widget thingy, tasted very Guinnessy. imdownthepub (5171), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England
