I found this to be a little more watery than Guinness Original, tasteswere not as sharp. It had slight sourness though not serios.Aroma was malty and it was creamy like in taste to drink so fairly pleasant, left a chocolaty bitter taste to finish.

From bottle, no 5 at Papsoes blindtasting. Pours dark brown with a reddish hue and a lacing off-white head. Roasted malt aroma and with a mild chocolate note. No carbonation. Flavour is dry chocolate flavoured and dry malty, roasted. Finish holds a solid bitterness lingering on top of the roasted malt.

(Can 50 cl) Clear, dark brown - almost black - with a tint of red and a creamy, light brown head, Vague aroma of hard roasted malts. Light and watery body with roasted malt accents and a touch of cardboard. Some lightly burned malt astringency. 301107

#5 [Blind tasting session @ Papsoe 30-11-2007] Average beige fizzy head with round thick foam like bubbles. Good display of lacework. Very dark mahogany color. Fruit, grain, ashtray, roasted malt, citrus. Light bodied with a soft carbonation and light dry texture. Light sweet flavor with a hint of bitterness. Light dry and malty finish

Dark mahogany color with red shades; creamy head. The aroma almost doesn’t exist, hints of roasted malt and chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel, but extremely weak body; some roasted malt flavor. Tastes like a second run over used malt... Poor.

Can, 44 cl. Dark brown & opaque; firm, small, and creamy grayish beige head. Roasted malts with notes of coffee in the aroma, with some citric hops. Smooth but watery mouthfeel. Nice bitterness with an acidic touch.
