Draught at Sydney’s A fantastically crafted beer. Pours a Dark dark brown/black color, with a Lasting off-white head. Its got a heavy dark/roasted flavor with a lot of walnut in it. A very VERY strong roasty flavor on the palate, with an unforgiving dry finish (in a good way though :D). I absolutely LOVE this beer, its drinkable with pretty much ANY food. Take the time to really savor it!

can with gadget, Tesco Pont-y-pool. Deep black colour, mid-sized, very persistent head. Light-boided, lacking a malty base, rather dry but still flavour-packed.

12oz bottle and on tap (nitro). Poured a nice creamy two finger head that lasted about halfway. It had a light, roasty smell. The taste starts out smooth and creamy before it becomes slightly acidic and finishes with a refreshing hoppiness. This beer has a lighter mouthfeel than most stouts and porters, but it is very creamy and satisfying. A very drinkable stout with a refreshing finish that is dry and hoppy,

Guinness outside of Ireland doesn’t taste anywhere near as good as it does on the island...

Tap. Pours with the trademark thick persistent head. Not much going on with the nose. Vague hints of roasted flavours make it through, but burnt flavours dominate with a mild bitterness in the finish. Not as thick as you’d expect from its appearance, and very soft carbonation.

TAP: beautiful black nitro pour with a big white fluffy head. Nose is slightly toasty / burnt. Mouthfeel is very thin. Taste is dry roast, slightly dry, and few other flavors.

500ml can. Dark brown to black in colour with a creamy tan head. Dry burnt malt aroma and a bit bland compared to some of the craft brewed stouts. Dry burnt flavours dominate and it is a little thin.

Almost black body with a fluffy creamy head. Aroma rather toasty with slight chocolate notes. A creamy mouth feel that is smooth and enjoyable. Toasty flavor comes out nicely. A little light and subdued but nice. Finishes out with a smooth mouth feel and very slight bitter taste.
