Draught. Very black, storm in the glass, thick tan head. Aroma of burnt carbon. Creamy taste, with an edge of roasted coffee and a hint of chocolate. Nice.

The mother of stouts!! I think? Totally black body and a nice creamy beige head that lasts a life time!! Very creamy taste with notes of liquorice, chocolate, coffee and smoke. An average stout, but good for beginners!!

Dark liquid. Blackish red, or reddish black. Big light head. Very smooth drinking; creamy texture. Very little carbonation-- or nearly-completely countered by nitrogen. Seems slightly more flat from bottle than can. Pleasant aftertaste... lingers a good while. I come back to this one repeatedly. Lager-drinking visitors leave it alone, knowing what they’d be in for. Rich but not overpowering. Balanced.

Dark reddish brown, creamy white head. Atringent barley aromas, not much there. Barley mashed taste, very subtle chocolate. Very light stout, smooth and enjoyable palate. Standard.

bottle. poured a dark black with a malty milk like head. a classic. dark smooth roasted malt flavor that is creamy smooth with milk chocolate notes. i would compare it to the chocolate milk of beers.

Bottle. Black with creamy foamy head. Aroma is sweet with coffee, toffee and smoke. Tastes of coffee, woodsmoke, and tobacco. Creamy with dry finish. Drinks fast.

The pint I had at St James brewery was exceptional... and they say it is also healthy for you! they also say its an acquired taste... once you acquire it the bitterness is what makes it great.

It’s Guinness, come on! And screw this site for making me write more than 75 characters when I don’t feel like writing anything.
