Bottle at Ølbutikken - thanks for the taste. Almost black - offwhite head. High, far too high carbonated, a bit like carbonated water - too thin and watery. Roasted, light burned, berries, sweetness, licorice. Boring !!

Bottle. Pours a nice black colour with a dark brown creamy mostly lasting head. Great aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and some liquorice. Good sticky well filling mouthfeel. The flavour is smooth and just great with good roasted closed burned malt, roasted coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice and hops. the finish is roasty and quite bitter. Great brew indeed!

Bottle, 33 cl. Dark brown, almost opaque, with a reddish hue. Medium sized, fluffy dark beige head. Roated, dusty malt aroma with notes of coffee, and citric hops. Medium to heavy bodied, good carbonation. Very fry and bitter finish.

Big grayish beige creamy head. Deep dark red body. Metallic burnt caramel aroma. Deep burnt roasty taste with coffee notes. Some chocolate. Dry burnt aftertaste. Not bad, but a bit one-dimensional and boring. (0.33l bottle.)

Bottle. Deep, reddish brown, clear body with a nice, lasting tan head. Burnt malt, coffee, "dryness", notes of mocha and dark chocolate is what I dragged in through my nose. It has a taste of burnt malt, both coffee- and hop-bitterness, malt and a vague fruityness. Medium, drying mouthfeel and a long bitter finish with some coffee. A nice beer, but a bit boring and one-dimentional. (070314)

Great aroma and great appearance. Nice thick head that you could eat with a spoon. Mouthfeel is a little harsher than I am used to and extra bitter aftertaste. Flavor is nice, very very smokey
