Bottle. Pours a black colour with an off-white head. Aroma is some dark bitter chocolate and coffee beans. Flavour is very roasted with notes of bitter chocolate and coffee beans. A bit sourish. Some bitterness in the finish.

I believe this is the one I had in France and Spain. Served from this little plastic light up draft. Looks great, tastes a little more thin than the US version. Doesn’t have that fullness I was expecting, probably from the lack of the flaked barley. Dry finish.

Tasted 2008-04-09. Bottle. Pours dark brown / black with light brown / grey / beige head. Aroma of roasted malts and coffee - weak aroma. Ditto flavours. Very wattery, but no off flavours. Somewhat uninteresting, but OK I guess.

Black with a greyish brown head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts and liqorice. The flavours are dry, acid and roasted.

Bottle. Chocolate and smokey charcoal aroma. Dark brown color with gigantic fluffy tan head. Smokey/ashy chocolate malt flavor. Overall better than the US version but occasionally gave me the impression that someone had put cigarette ashes in it.

0,33 l bottle. Black, with a lovely creamy brown head. Classic stout - very dry, with the usual roasted aromas and coffee/ dark chocolate flavors. Pure enjoyment, but the Draught version is kinda more interesting.
