Bottled. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt, nuts, and some dust. The flavor is slightly acidic from the hard roasted malt, but also with light notes of nuts, leading to a dry roasted finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Completely opaque black with a dense, beige head leaving laces. Lightly chocolatey nose. Fairly light body, roasted amd lightly burned malt accents. A weak tang of cardboard before a bitter finish. 180607

33 cL bottle with bbd in 2003 (2001 vintage) and 2000 (1998 vintage) tasted in 2007. Pours deep brown to black with a light brown head. Slight alcohol aroma in a deep roasted malt nose. flavour is oldish, same for both. Rerate needed of a fresh - doesn’t gain from ageing.

[Bottled] Transparently black, rich rocky head. Fruity aroma with some plums. Dry and very roasty. Tar and coffee are evident. Clean mouthfeel, fairly light body. Tarry finish with lingering bitterness.

Bottle. Metallic aroma, but also malty and roasted sugary. Almost black colour, red hue. Big, rocky, semi-stable head. Leaves good laces. Malty, roasted flavour. Thin mouthfeel. I can taste the roasted barley even though it is not in here.

Bottled. Dark ruby red colour with big foamy white head. Aroma of roasted malts. Flavour is strong roasted malts along with vegetables. Quite boring, watery and sweet stout.

Bottled. Dark brown coloured with a beige head. Roasted aroma with notes of liquorice. Roasted flavour with lots of liquorice. Tastes like a thin Guinnes Foreign Extra Stout.

Dark brown. Very rich, rocky head. Fruity, roasty aroma with lots of complexity. Dry, fruity, yeasty character. Light roasty in the dryish finish. A tasty variant.
