bullishjim (2), Rochester, New York, USA does not count Aug 20, 2008 Very dark with light brown head. Pleasant, slightly sweet aroma. Less smooth and more dry than Guinness Draught with more carbonation and a less creamy aftertaste. One of those beers where I enjoy the second more than the first. Pershing (42), Garland, Texas, USA Aug 20, 2008 Magnificient, dark brown/black with a nice fluffy light brown head. Lightly roasted and moderately hoped. Nice dry finish. scooter_bub (163), Lander, Wyoming, USA Aug 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark brown/black, with a red hue when held to the light. The head is thin, clingy, pillow and tan in color. Taste is of roasted malt, smoke, hops and is bitter in the finish. Has more body than the regular Guinness Draught. Aroma matches the taste. Overall, this is a pretty enjoyable and fulfilling beer that isn’t bad to have occasionally. bluemooner (72), Rogers, Minnesota, USA Aug 20, 2008 Pours a very dark brown with medium, light brown head and very little lacing. Dry tasting with hints of chocolate and light hops. Not my favorite stout but a good choice. joebudzjoe (102), Connecticut, USA Aug 18, 2008 dry flaky aroma of chalk, chocolate, coffee, wood. much clearer than the draught. Delicious dry thin finish with nice hop aftertaste. Prefer maybe a little more smoother for my stouts.
