Aromas of rye and pumpernickel. Scents of treacle and mild oak. Hints of sour mash. Flavors match aromas. Nice stuff. Nice complexity. What I remember Guinness being years ago.

Creamy & smooth mouthfeel. Taste has mild roasted coffee notes & chocolate. Sticky palate. Black pour with a fair light brown head. Soft roasted malts mix with chocolate and light coffee notes. Smooth and creamy with a well rounded body and some bitterness in the finish. Dark black body with a tan 2 finger head. A complex blackcurrant and liquorice aroma blends with those lovely burnt roast aromas. follows through into an oily mouth feel thats full of flavour and enough hops to round it out. cracking stuff.
