Smooth tasting with chocolate and malt flavours, a very enjoyable stout, totally opposite to Guinness on tap. faroeviking (6125), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands

One of the best dark beers, Guinnes original has a aroma like some Coffee and chocoloate, same to the flavor and bitterness at finish, the color is balck with some brown touch and dark beige head creamy. Amazing beer!
Cerveja com aroma de café e chocolate o mesmo para o sabor forte e amargo.Cor negra com marrom que vai tornando a espuma bege e cremosa.

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | May 14, 2007 No beer I’ve had that’s this widely avaliable is anywhere near as good. The initial flavours of smoaky burnt malt are hard to beat. Perhaps Goachers Crown Imperial Stout has better smoaked malt but, hey, I can’t buy that in any supermarket in the country. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 2, 2007 500ml screw top bottle (English edition, 4.2%). Served at the right room temperature. Almost opaque, black coloured body. Rocky, off-white head, most of it lasting and leaving lacing on the glass. Rounded, but vague smell of roasted malt. Dark coffee beans with roasted barley in taste. Short tail. Easy to quaff, but not too watered (Thanks to Eva, 01.04.2007). KM (238), Tromsø, Norway
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Mar 27, 2007 Bottle. Nice black body with reddish tones. Weird head, but it gets better. Heavy aroma, but it is hard to say what it is. A dry and airy flavour. A bit disappointing. But the old guy at this pub drank it so I guess that means quality.
