Sep 11, 2009 (bottle) pours a pitch black colour with a frothy tanned head, good lacing. aroma of dark toasted malts and caramelized figs, with a hint of herbal hops and some smoke. flavour is the same, also lightly smokey, with some powdered sugar and a long grainy roasted-bitter finish. medium to strong-bodied, smooth carbonation.

Aug 23, 2009 Bottle 33 cl. Apperance; black with a huge brown head. Aroma; Choccolate, coffee, licorice but also sweet and fruity sence. Flavor; Chocolate and licorise at first with a dark fruity ending. Nice!

Jun 18, 2009 aroma of coffee, dark dried fruit, and alcohol. A big, chewy beer. Roasty up front, then coffee, chocolate, plum skins. Nicely balanced finish, wth lingering earthy hop and roast flavours - very drinkable.
