(bottle) pours a pitch black colour with a frothy tanned head, good lacing. aroma of dark toasted malts and caramelized figs, with a hint of herbal hops and some smoke. flavour is the same, also lightly smokey, with some powdered sugar and a long grainy roasted-bitter finish. medium to strong-bodied, smooth carbonation.

The stronger version of the original Guinness, but much more well balanced with stronger aroma, full body and fantastic taste.

aroma of coffee, dark dried fruit, and alcohol. A big, chewy beer. Roasty up front, then coffee, chocolate, plum skins. Nicely balanced finish, wth lingering earthy hop and roast flavours - very drinkable.
