It’s description is perfect. It certainly is a beer that you ’eat’. It has a wonderful round, full taste and aroma. Definately one of my favorites. FROTHINGSLOSH (2010), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA

Sampled from a 11.2 oz white bottle this fine brew poured a ruby-mahogany color with a large tan head. The aroma is sweet and has elements of ripe cherries, berries and molasses. There is a light hop aroma and a note of alcohol on the nose. The flavor is rich dark malts, ripe fruit, molasses, light hops and a noticeable but not overwhelming alcohol burn. In all an exceptional brew that I wish I could afford more often. Also of note the draft is available to me locally but I find that it is significantly lacking in character compared to the bottle however it does lack the alcohol scent and taste that is present in the bottle. A fine draft but an incredible bottle. Liquid glory! beanwiggin (22), California, USA

Although it is 10,5 % you do not taste the alcohol of this good bodied bier. A must for every beer lover emotv (331), Izmir, Turkey

I have yet to introduce a person to Gulden Draak who doesn’t immediately exclaim, "That’s one of the best beers I’ve ever had." Yes, I know. :) dwyerpg (2537), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

A nicely flavored, aromatic head leads to a crisp, gritty hoppy flavor. The Begian qualities and spices are definitely evident, but the alcohol is excellently hidden. Finally, a smooth finish lets me call this an extraodrinary beer.
