rosebud (47), Portsmouth, New Hampshire, USA Dec 3, 2000 Like Piraat from the same family, I have to give this beer a perfect score. It’s description is perfect. It certainly is a beer that you ’eat’. It has a wonderful round, full taste and aroma. Definately one of my favorites. beanwiggin (22), California, USA Feb 14, 2006 best of the best! truly a wonderful beer. flavorful and pleasurable. this is my favorite is all areas. quite fulfilling and always a good friend. enjoy and appreciate the fine taste of the Draak. scope (8), Massachusetts, USA does not count Feb 28, 2007 Bought this on a whim.......AMAZING...pours a bloody brown with tan head...should call this brew Rudolph, because the nose is pure christmas...sweet and alcoholic. caramel and figs...With the first taste i shouted "SPICY" and proceeded to ask this beer to marry me....i had to brink half the bottle( 1pt 6oz) just to seperate all the flavors...such a flood of emotion in this ale...it is very happy to tell you it’s hoppy story...lots of fruit and malts, caramel, brown sugar and butter....somewhat hard to find but if you come across a lone bottle somewhere....carpe diem....save it and savor it oberabcbbsok (653), Hoboken, Belgium Apr 27, 2007 Updated: Oct 11, 2007One of my favoured beers. A very nice dark ale. Although it is 10,5 % you do not taste the alcohol of this good bodied bier. A must for every beer lover dwyerpg (2032), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Aug 29, 2005 A fine looking beer, even if it is brown and not golden. A nicely flavored, aromatic head leads to a crisp, gritty hoppy flavor. The Begian qualities and spices are definitely evident, but the alcohol is excellently hidden. Finally, a smooth finish lets me call this an extraodrinary beer.
