Sweet taste with some pleasant sherbet-like sourness. A little bitterness. Very nice blue bottle. Otherwise pretty average. Magicdave6 (5551), London, Greater London, England

Why do i buy these chaps from uto when theres like 750’s of gueuze getting bought by batty boyz who’r like "’ight bruv" and get it open it and will no doubt pour the entire fucking thing all down the drian. Grainy cereal malts, on the sweet side, some herbal hop, it balanced slightly but adds little bitterness. Drinkable enough stuff, but really unexciting. NJBeerman013 (783), Trenton, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours a crystal clear golden in color with a huge, pure white head. It has a slighly pungent aroma with a sightly sweet, malty flavor. It is light in body, but has a naggingly cloying finish. Straling (190), Heerlen, Netherlands

Pours a clear gold colour, small size head.
Smell is not very attractive,.
Taste is a bit better, good hops and malts there, but pretty plain.
Very watery beer, but nonetheless allright on the palate. NoiZe (1372), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 22, 2008 Pours clear pale gold with 2-finger off-white head and a lot of carbonation streams. Nose is pale malt, mild honey and hopcitrus. Tastes dry , citric, Saaz hoppy, with minor notes of pale malt and florals. I didn’t note any off aromas or flavors here, but I wasn’t blown away by what was here. Slipstream (775), USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 2, 2008 Purchased a 10.2 ounce bottle (sic) in the USA, imported by a company located in Little Canada, Minnesota. It is called either Neuborg or Chateau Neuborg. I am not sure about the name of the brewer either, but an internet search shows that this beer originates in Gulpen, Holland, and is most likely the product of the Gulpener brouwerij. It has a simple, nice, gray and white label. Classic clear gold pour. Mild, honey sweet aroma. The flavor is a lightly bittered pilsner, not very powerful, but a decent warm weather brew. Velvet mouthfeel. It is not superior to other Dutch beers I’ve had (like Heineken), or other respectable pilsners (like Urquell). This may be an unusual beer to come across in America, but I bet it is everday stuff in Holland.
