Bottled at home (classy blue bottle). Clear golden coloured, big lasting head, great looks! Hoppy nose, some malts, very "German". Hopbitter flavour, fruity notes. Pleasant bitter finish. Outstanding classic German pilsener from a Dutch brewery.

On draft in Kasteel Doenrade (Limburg, The Netherlands). Very nice soft taste, tastes of caramel. I would put this one between my favourite Dortmunder style beers

As soon as ou open the bottle there is that hopparoma...not to be missed. For the rest it’s a well made lager beer, with clear hopp in the nose, palate and aftertaste. Well presenterd in a nice blue bottle.

Blue bottle 50 cl. Pours a reddish clear golden with a medium white head and the scent of a typical pilsener. Taste is a bit more complex than a typical pilsener, with malt, hops, citrus and spice to be tasted and a spicey and hoppy aftertaste. A pretty good pilsener!

Birthday gift, fancy 50cl blue bottle. Clear golden yellow colour, frothy white head leaving good lace. Aroma of fine hops, grass, some malts. Flavour is malty sweet, followed by a good lingering hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Really nice German style pilsner.

Unlike some others I really like this bottle. A big departure from the usual brown green or clear. The beer looks typically like a fine pilsner with its blonde hue and creamy head. A little spiciness in the nose imparted by the hops and a soft bicuity undertone combine well. This drinks very well in the crisp spiciness followed by some citric fruitiness. The carbonation is low imparting a certain softness that adds to the mouthfeel. Overall this is a fine beer and one that will hopefully be repeated next time I get myself over to the west and the best damn beers shop in the country.

No fizz, no fuss. As if you poured whisky and not beer. A very relaxing attitude. Almost no head. You get pure beer. It has a very refined, round taste. Fits into one’s throat very smoothly. You get a slight bitter taste afterwards, a rather plesant one, like that of Efes Pilsener. This is a beer you would drink and enjoy like whisky and not beer. Not something you would drink more than 2 a day. Something to drink as novelty, or with its stylish blue bottle, to impress one’s girlfriend. Otherwise, it may not justify itsef at three times the price of Heineken.
