Bottled. Golden coloured. Clear. Dense white head. Fruitsweet and quite alcholdense nose. Flavour has some yeast and spices. Fruity as well and light sugary. Light bodied. Smooth and light end with some vague fruitnotes.

Bottle at home. Another nice dortmunder. Healthy head, amber-colored beer. Sweet and fruity, but not too much. Lots of spices.

Decent Dort, brewed in another country no less. From the glass into a wide-lipped chalice, hey live like a king for ten minutes. Bright, sunny, orange-gold with very, very fine carbonation pushing up a sloppy, messy white head that held, glued and webbed down the glass nicely. Big, malty, grainy, bready nose showing a touch of All-spice, dried mown grass and a faint hint of rusted car bodies. Beautiful display of toasted malts in the mouth with some tangy orange-peel and peppery hops in back. Softly sweet upfront, creamy in mouthfeel, with a warming, malty, fresh-baked swallow that shows good length. As it warms it becomes dusty, being generally dry even when cold. I swear wheat malt is in this one as it is prominent in flavour. The malt dominates this one, very little bitterness shows, hop remain but a spicy addition. It is balanced though. Not a bad effort in this one. Nothing complex, but it is one to suit a long Sunday session even if you were serve it in a glass that was less than manly. Not bad at all. Bottle. Amber colour with a small white head. Malty, fruity aroma and a sweet light sour, fruity taste. Medium body with a sweet finish.

(Bottle 30 cl) Pours a clear, pale amber with a small, white head. Fruity, malty nose. Medium body and quite malty with some alcohol presence. Rather fruity with a dry, hoppy finish. Nice. 240706
