Aug 14, 2009 A clear dark copper colored beer, with a thick foamy beige head. The aroma has some malts with caramel and fruits. The taste is dry with caramel, malts. There is some bitter with sweets. The aftertaste is a little bitter with sweet.

May 31, 2009 30cl Bottle from Dirck III, 1 of 4 specials brewed by collaborating small independent Dutch family breweries. Beautiful clear copper amber colour, light off white head. Aroma of toasted malts and caramel, a hint of fruits, some alcohol. Flavour is sweet, malty, caramel, light fruity. Light bittersweet finish. Medium bodied, oily mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

Aug 22, 2009 Bottled. Copper colour with small beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, some fruits as well as quite bready and earthy. Flavour is raisins and also quite much of the same as in the aroma. Much more sweet than Alfa or Budels Echt 2009.

Dec 24, 2009 Dark amber coloured beer with some very light carbonation and an average off-white head. Malty caramel touched and fruity aroma. Full creamy palate. Finish is light bitter sweet, with some malty caramel hints. Longer dry sweet ending. Nice one.

Jun 7, 2009 Bottled. Clear amber color, medium slight off-white head. Aroma of toasty malt indeed, german hop, slight wurzig german style, hint of grain. Slight sweet taste, caramel, toasty. Light bitter. Not that bad i guess.

Jun 10, 2009 Bottle. Dark amber color. Malty bready flowery aroma. Malty sweet flavorwith cake dough, hints of cinnamon and mango and a soft but persistant flowery hopbitterness. Sticky mouthfeel. If this is a märzen it is an oversweet one.
