Feb 22, 2006 Bottle. The aroma is peppery, but rather weak for its ABV. Dark golden colour, unstable head. Thick, alcoholic flavour. Tastes like a European strong lager with a dash of caramalt. Very peppery, almost chili aftertaste.

Feb 1, 2006 Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Fruity, alcoholic and caramellish aroma. Alcohol, hops, caramel and overall sweet stingy flavour. Aftertaste sweet alcohol with some ryeish hints.

Dark golden color, not much head. Strong aroma of rye. Rye-malty with presence of alcohol, especially in the aftertaste. Raw ryeish brew, also maybe pasted a bit its prime time.

Jan 4, 2006 Bright golden body with a compact white head. Mainly alcohol in the aroma and then some malt. Some caramel in the taste but once again mainly dominated by the alcohol. I dont really care for this beer nor do I really care for this style.

Dec 25, 2005 Not overpowering, especially for the 10%. It tasted like an extreme newcastle, if that makes sense. Malty, sticky, ok, but not great. Got this in my stocking today brought from Europe by my wife(She Rules!)

Oct 31, 2005 Bottle: Dark golden to light amber coloured, thin white foamy layer; quite shy sweet-malty nose: traces of honey, caramel and almonds with a faint touch of alcohol; sweet malty, caramelly body; finish a bit dryer, malty and only slightly bitter; quite full bodied (surprise ?) and sticky, but a bit too much alcohol and too less flavours. Heel aardig, MoritzF !

Oct 18, 2005 (bottle) Clear amber colour with a frothy off-white medium, but fast diminishing head. Sweet malty, mazipan and slightly alcoholic nose. Sweet initial malty taste with marzipan, rather unbalanced sweet sugary finish. Not a beer for every day use.

Sep 25, 2005 An orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is strong alcoholic with slight notes of peaches and grass. The flavor is very sweet, but not as alcoholic, as the aroma made me think, but instead of alcohol, the flavor contains some notes of metal in the aftertaste, and the alcohol makes its presence known by burning slightly in the throat. The flavor also contains some notes of fruits especially peaches.
