Colour is deep gold, but there is a slight haze...that’s ok tho! head is pretty much non existent, just very few bubbles in the middle of my glass. Can’t get much on the nose other than alcohol( and a SLIGHT sweet maltiness) Palate is dominated by harsh alcoholic tones and followed by a rather unpleasant sugary sweetness. I don’t mind strong lagers if they are at least well balanced, but I can’t find much to commend this...shame as I was looking forward to it.

Well I liked it well kind of. Have to agree with JorisPPattyn who could no doubt get far better beers brewed locally ;) you have to remember that this is a 10% beer and you will feel it, although the oily mouth feel is a put off.

Orange-straw colour, clear; thinnish head, fast gone poorly fed by aged beer-like carbonation. Chalk, alcohol in the nose, bit milky as well; very faint malt and brown sugar-coated ovenapples. Very sharp alcoholic taste, marzipan, going into an uneasy sweet-perfumed-bitter balance. Burning MF, sharp, ending a bit oily. Unbalanced, unrefined beer. If this is a gladiator, those were not only sweaty buggers, but alcoholists as well.

Allmost no head. Alcohol and slightly chemical, sopey aroma. Very sweet and overwhelming alcoholic taste and some fruityness. Light bitter and alcoholic finish.

Dark blond beer with a medium disappearing head. The aroma is floral alcohol and soap. Light sweet alcohol taste with an odd side taste that reminded me of a glue I used as a kid. Bitter alcohol aftertaste.

This beer has a golden body - hue with a sweet initial flavor and a heavy body.

Golden color with a semi white head. The taste is sweet and very alcoholic. This beer has no balance...

Very sweet and very alcoholic. This must be what the drunkards of the Netherlands are drinking. It made me vomit. I hate it.
