Aug 27, 2005 Smells and looks just like it should. Little citrus in the nose and light cloudy yellow. Nice body on this one. Some witbiers get a bit thin but this one doesn’t. Only real negative I can about this one is that it’s closer to a hefe than a wit. Missing the citrus and spice but plenty of wheaty banana flavor shows up.

Aug 3, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Hazy, greyish yellow without much head. Lovely fresh and citrusy with a touch of sour and absolutely no bitterness. Spicy. An excellent Witbier. 260601

Aug 3, 2005 Bottled. Cloudy yellow colour. Small frothy head. Coriander and orangey nose with notes of yeast. Yeasty, slightly citric, wheaty taste with light notes of spiciness. Quite okay for a witbier.

Jul 15, 2005 (can) Cloudy yellow colour with a small frothy white head. Strong wheat aroma with citrus fruits, yeast and spicy coriander elements. The taste is initially dominated by wheat turning into a moderate fruity finish with notes of apricots and bananas and slight hints of coriander spice. Aromatic Witbeer, medium bodied, balanced and complex, although my sample came from a can.

Jul 15, 2005 Yellow, golden coloured. Very nice fruity aroma. Lemon, banana. Flavour is a bit on the lighter side. Spicy and a nice refreshing taste. One of the nicests whites of Holland.

Jul 3, 2005 2 May 2004 - Cloudy gold colour, slight suds lacing with a low head retention. Sweet citrus and some banana aromas, a slight earthy complexity, and is reminiscent of a cross between a schoferhoffer-hoegaarden. Fruity citrus flavour, slight bitter sweet tang and some banana. Light mouthfeel, fizzy and a long finish.

Jun 30, 2005 Updated: Aug 11, 2007(Bottled) Opaque straw-yellow with a medium, tight, bright white and frothy head. Aroma of lemon, yeast and ginger. Wheaty and lightly spicy flavor with citrusy fruitiness. Medium-bodied, softly carbonated and slightly thick palate. A refreshing, lightly acidic, pretty full-bodied and malt-accented (for a witbier), quite pleasant, lemony, but not that spicy witbier.

Jun 20, 2005 very cloudy beer with aromas of banana, fresh lemon, bit spicy. taste: banana, vanilla, lemon, bit sharp near the end. finish is quite long. very refreshing in the summer, and also one of the best witbiers i’ve enjoyed.
