Bottle at Bierproeflokaal In De Wildeman. Hazy golden color with a creamy, sort of lacing, white head. Aromas of wheat, citrus and mild spice. Flavors of banana, lemon and coriander or clove. Seems a hefeweiss to me. Medium body with mild carbonation. Finish is nice. Not bitter. Not sweet. Smooth. Of course the wolf on the label is really cool (beastie has 7 letters in its name - starts with H and ends in r).

Bottled from AH in Mestreech. Color is hazy yellow with small head, nice lacing. must be fresh brew. Aroma has banana and some soft yeast. soft mouthfeel very pleasant drink much less spiced as Belgian Witbeers. Nice!

Light yellow colored with cloudy appearance. Little yellow head. Rich fruity aroma with nice banana and dominating spicy-yeast. Medium bodied, smooth, though crispy palated. Some interesting flowery tone in flavor with still this banana dominating, nice spices also present. Aftertaste is still drying with crispiness from carbonation.

Tap at ’t Pothiuske, Maastricht, with ha1ag. Cloudy blonde, big white bubby head. Low detergent small and banana aroma, sherbert, urinal cake. Mouth is minimal, served very cold, more urinal cake, perfume, floral gums. Quite lively, lasting florally, quite refreshing. Taste could do with some work, but it’s ok.

Bottle. Moderate yeasty, fruity and light smell of banana. Yellow cloudy body, rather small white foamy head. Light sweet start, then it gets more acidic; light body. Dry and light watery, light body, soft carbonation. Rather mild one but nice.

A good example of the style. Very refreshing, with pronounced coriander and citrus characteristics. Don’t be put off by the bizarre blue bottle and quirky label design which distract from the quality of the beer.
