Horrible horrible blue bottle. Shoot the marketeers who thought that was good packaging. Cloudy orangy yellow. almost no head. Light sweet spicy aroma - just what you’d expect from a witbier. Surprisingly flat, a little dull in the mouth. Pleasant taste though, again, similar to your canonical wit, but perhaps a little hoppier. As it’s so flat, you feel you just want to glug it - you can’t just sip it. JayBaxter (391), Greater Manchester, Greater Manchester, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 23, 2007 Cloudy deep yellow beer with a large white head that soon fades to a thin covering, aroma is just what you’d expect - citrussy but with a deffinate pear drop toffee edge to it. Taste is refreshing with citrus and light spicing. scotty (834), Scotland
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 24, 2007 Typically cloudy, the initially thick white head dies fairly fast to a thin patchy covering. fresh & fruity with some spice on the nose, again typical of a white beer. Clean, fresh palate, a bit too light for my liking. There is a good cleansing acidity, and plenty of zesty fruit on the finish, nice refreshing stuff, just not THAT good. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 17, 2007 Bottle. Pours a yellow colour with a creamy medium sized well lasting white head. Fair lacing. Fresh wheat aroma with a pleasant fruitiness, citrus and with some herbiness. Good mouthfeel. The flacour is fresh with a good amount of wheat, good frutiness and soft sweetness, pleasant citrus, hops, some herbs and cloves. Quite dry and long lasting wheaty and herby finish. Great refreshing summer beer!
