Courtesy of bierkoning, thanks Edo! Clear amber color, very small white head. Vegetables, bacon, sweet malts in the nose. Very malty, sweetish and a bit vegetably. Some alcohol.

Bottle. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Brown amber colour. Closer to dunkel bock than heller. Light malty and hoppy aroma, soapy notes. Light swet, moderate bitter flavor. Not quite nice prunenotes. Average fnish. Oily palate. Messy beer.

Bottle, 6.5%. Very vinous aroma, smells quite old, but is not. Dark copper colour, small white head. The flavour is also vinous and reminds me of a beer consisting of 90 percent lager and 10 percent oud bruin. Not bad though, but the sweetness is a little sugary. Medium carbonation. Ends with alcohol and roughness which actually suits this beer. Grows on me.

Dark amber with a big, creamy head. The aroma has a light sourness, light sweetness and notes of malt, yeast and fruit. The flavour has a light sourness, a light sweetness, notes of fruit, yeast, malt and caramel. OK, but not more than average. 2469

Bottle. Pours a quite clear copper colour with a fair rather short lasting beige head leaving a nice lacing though. Sweet caramel, toasty malty and fruity alco aroma. The flavour is sweet with caramel and toasted malt, some sourness, yeast, ripe fruit and bit nutty. The alcohol is well hidden in the flavour. Strange sour Heller Bock.

draft at Pothuiske in Maastricht. Dark orange color, almost reddish. small but nicely lacing head, must have got a very fresh one. Malts in the nose, with light sweet caramel. Higher alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle at home. Orange colour, aroma and flavour. Not much head. Citrusy taste and prickly mouthful. Sweet flavours. Okay enough. Slightly bitter finish.
