Sweet and slightly toasty malty aroma with chestnuts and light notes of caramel. Sweet malty flavour, slightly toasty taste, distinctive chestnut notes; medium body, smooth carbonated mouthfeel, well-rounded bitter, slightly hopped and lingering finish; present but well-integrated, warming alcoholic note. Very pleasant. Many thanks to bierkoning for this one. Otje (668), Leiden, Netherlands

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 2, 2005 An amber beer with a fine light brown head. The aroma is acidic - almost like a Flemmish Sour Ale - of over ripe fruit. The flavor is sweet, slightly acidic and slightly smoked, combined with notes of smoke, which gives it a dry end.
