| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 30, 2005 (Bottled) Deep copper color with a smallish, foamy head. Slightly alcoholic, sweet-honeyish-malty aroma with some hops. Very fruity, sweetish and malty flavor. Medium-bodied, slightly alcoholic but quite smooth palate. A quite drinkable and smooth bock. jerohen (1615), Bussum, Netherlands

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 28, 2002 Another solid outing from Gulpener, who make consistently good, but not great, beers. This is a bright amber bock that reminds of a tripel with its peachy, flowery esters, soft body (ok, that’s not really a hallmark of a tripel, but it is on some of the better ones)...very sweet, packs a little kick, like that from a ’korenwolf’. A pure form pale bock, with no dark malt character at all. If it weren’t for the esters, this would be a big dortmunder. caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 3, 2002 Bit plastic and fruity aroma. Amber, white frothy head, good lacing. Sweet, fruity. Long sweet finish. bierkoning (6100), La Tropica, Netherlands
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 30, 2002 A sweet aroma. A sweet, fruity taste (caramel and banana). Much too sweet for a light bockbeer, but nice to drink on an evening in spring.
