Ungstrup (11075), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 2, 2005 An amber beer with a fine light brown head. The aroma is acidic - almost like a Flemmish Sour Ale - of over ripe fruit. The flavor is sweet, slightly acidic and slightly smoked, combined with notes of smoke, which gives it a dry end. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 2, 2008 (Bottle 30 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Pours a beautiful clear, warm deep amber golden. Some caramel in the aroma, but also sourish and rotten notes of vegetables. Medium body, notes of caramel, herbs and soap - very very strange. I kinda hope that this is infected and not intended this way. Very subdued bitterness. 140608 Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 28, 2002 Another solid outing from Gulpener, who make consistently good, but not great, beers. This is a bright amber bock that reminds of a tripel with its peachy, flowery esters, soft body (ok, that’s not really a hallmark of a tripel, but it is on some of the better ones)...very sweet, packs a little kick, like that from a ’korenwolf’. A pure form pale bock, with no dark malt character at all. If it weren’t for the esters, this would be a big dortmunder. joergen (6257), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 28, 2005 Bottled.
Clear golden coloured with a small off white head.
Fruity aroma of cookies, malts and corn.
Fruity flavour of cookies and malts with notes of corn and hops.

A bit cloying. sk8viking (6078), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 24, 2005 Bottle. Amber colour with a small tan head. Sweet caramel malty, fruity aroma and a sweet fruity taste. Medium body and a sweet finish.
