Bullit (524), Zeist, Netherlands Aug 24, 2008 Golden colour, white head. Aroma has malts. Clean taste of mallts and grassy hops. Bitter hoppy finish. Nice biopilsener. note666 (199), Eindhoven, Netherlands Jun 11, 2008 300 ml bottle. golden colour. white head.
not to bitter taste. all right for a pilsener. ha1ag (233), Netherlands May 31, 2008 Bottled from AH in Mestreech. Golden color with thick white head. Malty nose. Aroma is pure, malts. Well-bodied for a pilsner with very pleasant bitterness. Gulpener made this one very nice JorisPPattyn (4275), Antwerpen, Belgium Feb 13, 2008 Huge, fluffy, snowwhite head, leaving shards of lace over big-bubbled, deep-golden beer. Very malty aroma, over-malty,like maltbiscuits, lightly toasted. Quite German in character; Very nice, toasted & fresh malty flavours, sweet but just held in check by hops, not giving bitterness, nor real hopflavour, but making it markedly drier in the finish. Light to medium bodied, too much malt to get anywhere watery. Light slickness, slightly burning MF. Surprisingly good, even excellent maltbomb in the form of a Pilsner. Seen the simple package, and the similar, if even superior characteristics, the Limburg brewery could sell this to a flattering quality/price proportion compared to their oompah Chateau Neubourg... if only I hadn’t to find this in a... biofeed shop " guaranteed to cost more than the sum of its contents " as Punch already wrote 3 decennia ago... TrefwoordPunk (366), Leiden, Netherlands Jan 10, 2008 On draft at a local bar. Clear golden with a small white head and malty, hoppy aroma. The flavor is a bit sweet for a pilsener and pretty hoppy (like Urquell). The finish is a nice hoppy bitterness. A good pilsner overall and it’s biological, like more beers should be!
