Not sour like I expected. Swelling mouthfeel, but in a good way. Pilsner aftertaste. Maria (6286), Thisted, Denmark
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 12, 2007 Dark golden with a nice, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel and pilsner plus a very light sourness. The flavour has the same notes, but the Oud Bruin drowns in the pilsner. The result is smooth, easy-going and slightly boring, but it’s very easy to drink. 2442 bierkoning (6066), La Tropica, Netherlands
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 11, 2005 The sweetness of the oud bruin pushes away the pilsener bitterness. Not surprisingly, ’cause Gulpener pils isn’t very bitter. Creamy, even a bit honeyish but also a bit thin. Not too bad, except for the caramelly bitterness in the aftertaste. thewolf (5792), Kolding, Denmark

Pours a clear deep amber with quite a large frothy white head. Aroma is mild, rather pilsner-ish, with sweet pale malt, and a little bit of ’wet dog’ hops. Surprisingly oily mouthfeel. Flavour is much more sour than the aroma. But not much. As Maria puts it, the Oud Bruin almost drowns in the pilsner. Easily drinkable, but nothing special. Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 10, 2004 Malty, bready and caramelly aroma. Very sweet and mild flavour. Unfortunately there is also a faint note of vomit. Quite thin. What you could except from a mix of pilsener and oud bruin. pivnizub (5048), Bochum, Porúří, Germany

Not really convincing........
