Cinammon and clove in the nose. Aroma is sweet sugar, cinnamon and clove. Sweety, spicy flavour. Bitterness is a bit low. I think it is too thin for a winterbeer but otherwise nice TaxiDriver (935), Stadland, Germany

What this chap has in his cellar when he gets to know you, and it is a great surprise. This is a smooth Christmas pudding of a beer, Port / Sherry comes to mind too. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 1, 2007 Bottled. A deep red beer with a low tan head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of berries, and lesser notes of malt, metal, alcohol, fruit - especially apples, and some spices - I pick up cloves. The flavor is quite sweet, but with a good body to back it up, and a very complex mixture of spices (cloves, cinnamon, and coriander), malt, caramel, alcohol, and some fruit. The end is very smooth with notes of spices and caramel lingering around. The alcohol bites slightly in the tongue.
