Aug 1, 2007 Bottled. A deep red beer with a low tan head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of berries, and lesser notes of malt, metal, alcohol, fruit - especially apples, and some spices - I pick up cloves. The flavor is quite sweet, but with a good body to back it up, and a very complex mixture of spices (cloves, cinnamon, and coriander), malt, caramel, alcohol, and some fruit. The end is very smooth with notes of spices and caramel lingering around. The alcohol bites slightly in the tongue.

Mar 28, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a lacing white head. Perfumed and light spiced. Flavour holds more of that same perfumed floral notes. Sweet and light maltbase in addition. Shows a persisting floral finish with a light bitterness.

Aroma is moderate pine needle, light to moderate malty, roasted, caramel, spices / herbs. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration.
