2002 version: Clear orange, ugly head. Light hoppy aroma. Bittersweet hoppy and yeasty flavor with some alcohol shining through. Bitter finish. Not impressed.

2002 version: Clear orange color, ’rocky’ head, small and large bubbles. Flowery hop aroma. Bit sweet bitter malty taste. Strong Pilsener-like indeed.

Hoppy, bit malty aroma, quite-pilsener like. Clear brown appearance, quickly disappearing head. Taste is somewhat in between a pilsener and a amberbeer. Not interesting. Palate is hopbitter indeed.

2002 version. Apricot aroma. Sweet taste with an apricot fruitiness and a slight hopbitterness. Just a hint of sourness. Full bodied. Hopbitter finish. 1997 version, tasted 22.07.03Slightly smoky sherry aroma, no head, hardly any lacing. Sweet sherry flavor, sugary and thin. Cheap sweets flavor. Alcohol. Way past its peak, but still pleasant enough to drink.

Rating the 2001 version! Aroma is molasses and a little roasted. Brown, small off-white head, no lace. Initial taste is sweet and caramel and promising. Bud ... nothing happens. Medium body. Short sweet finish.

This Christmas beer is brewed each year with another recipe - red-amber colour, few head, fruity aroma (grapefruit, pineapple?), smooth and fresh, long bitter and fruity finish - not very sure about its style
