Cloudy amber with a big and lasting off-white head. Malt, caramel and toffee in the nose. Sweetish malty flavour, a little chocolate and a complex sweet finish. Excellent doppelbock!
fonefan (4328), Ulfborg, Denmark Aug 15, 2008 Bottle 50cl. Unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, fruity, moderate hoppy, anis notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Hazy amber golden with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt. Solid and malty body. Roasted malt and burned caramel accents - some fruity notes and some Danish Rye Bread.. The finish is dry.
