This has a rich dark chocolate borwn with a head that bursts all over the place until it does what seems to be the Chilean characterisitc of settling to a peripheral foam on the glass. The nose is quite malty with the expectd chocolate and caramel flavours coming out. The flavour is not what I expected of an ale as it has a softness like a schwarzbier rather than the usual esters. Regardless of this departure from style, something that some brewers may do as a fanciful thing rather than follow the facts, I enjoyed this beer a great deal.

Better than Amber Ale from the same brewery, but still watery. Nice brown haze in the body, acid finish. Probably new in the market, I haven’t seen it before.

Clody dark brown color with a small head. Aroma is very different from other porters, it’s mostly of blueberries and plums, dark chocolate is also noticeable. Medium bitter flavor and slightly sweet, low hop presence. I prefer porters with more body and malt, but the fruitiness found here makes it good.

Appearance: dark brown color. Medium head, beige color and few persistent. Aroma: intensive toast malty, yeasty, candy, sweet chocolate and some coffee. Fruity like figs and raisins. Low hops smells. Flavor: sweet and toasty start from malts. Too much yeasty for the style. Traditional savors like chocolate and coffee. Slightly spicy, similar to clove and cinnamon. Vaguely citric and ripe fruits, like blackberries, raisins and figs. Soft dry-hoppy finish. Toasty and yeasty aftertaste. Palate: medium body with earthy texture. Low to medium carbonation. For my, more a brown ale that a porter.

(in bottle, gift of a friend). Aroma to many malt, with lights of hay and toasting. has a dark, brown very dark color, very cloudy, turbid. Sweet flavor, candy that jumps very rapidly to the bitterness, probably slightly salty. The body is average, with an oily texture. Has a just gas.

Murky brown look, small off-white head that goes away quickly. Aroma is too subtle, almost unnoticeable with a clear presence of cascade hops but citrusy. Flavor is weak, too, citrusy, flowery, herbal with hints of anise liquor. Overall mediocre and weak.

On Tap Pours a cloudy dark brown color, rather ugly with lots of sediments. It looks like unclean water. Head is medium, light brown and diminishes quickly, leaving a decent lacing. Aroma is soft, malty with notes of mokka, chocolate and a weird floral and citrusy touch from the cascade hops. Flavor is sweet with low ending bitterness. It has some hints of artificial sweetened chocolate...not very enjoyable, but not awful either. Reasonably thick texture. Medium body. Watery finish, medium carbonation too. The aftertaste is hoppy and herbal. This is a fairly dissapointing mediocre brew.
