Jeppe (2635), Ølbutikken, Denmark Apr 25, 2007 Tall fizzy snow white head, orange body. Sour aroma with a hint of detergent - need to say its not very pleasant?! Flavor is bready again with some sourness kicking in. Has a touch of dough to it. Watery mouth. As expected, not very good. But a new country and thanks to Mads for that!
jjpm74 (2896), Connecticut, USA May 26, 2008 Pours gold with a generous white head. Smells toasty with some nutty hints, soap, some metallic notes, light fruit, some touches of earthiness. Tastes of dry malt, some hints of sweetness, touches of bitterness, some hints of citrus. Mouthfeel is full bodied. Finish yields some touches of sweetness with a hint of tarte lemon. Skinnyviking (2624), Copenhagen, Denmark Apr 27, 2007 Bottle. Short white and quickly disappearing head. Hazy orange body. Fruity and sweet aroma and flavor pretty sweet with some spice that reminds of coriander but not quite as strong. Otherwise pretty thin bodied and a bit dull. madsberg (4365), Bangalore, India Apr 25, 2007 Bottled. Orange coloured. Unclear. Dense beige head. Fruity and sweet aroma with light notes of spice. Flavour is fruity as well. Has some grassy notes. Is a bit thin bodied. Quite dry. Is very light bitter and slightly sour in the end. One of the better tropical beers I’ve had. Ungstrup (11075), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 25, 2007 Bottled. A very hazy amber beer with a thick beige head. The aroma is sweet with a strong dusty hoppy note combined with some fruit. The flavor is sweet again with the dusty hops, and the mouthfeel is very smooth. Thanks Mads Berg for this new country. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 25, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of madsberg. Hazy, amber colour with an off-white head. Unclean, tart aroma with some overripe fruit. Medium body with an extreme carbonation. A bit of sweet caramel and and odd smoked edge. A dry finish without bitterness. 250407
