| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 5, 2006 An unclear dark orange cider with no head. The aroma is sweet and like over ripe fermenting apples. The flavor is sweet with notes of apple core and yeast leading to a dry end. Papsoe (15109), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 19, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Clear, deep, amber golden with no head. Dry, leathery aroma. Medium body, lightly tart apple accents and then again these astringent, leathery notes that seem to be standard in Gwatkin ciders and I have a hard time coming to terms with. 120507 yespr (12423), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Flavour is dry and citric. Finish is dry. Dry and dry, too dry for my liking. Rastacouere (5565), Montréal, Quebec, Canada

Comments: A rather disappointing Gwatkin, though I only had it from the bottle. Leathery and astringent with little of the usual fleshy juiciness that gets drowned in rough dryness.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 4, 2009 Bottled, 500ml prob filtered. Gold with no head. The aroma is great, rich sweet apple, really fresh. The body a little less so, its fairly thin despite the ABV, the apple flavour is good and clean though, dry abd fruity. Pretty decent for a bottled cider. Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 29, 2009 Bottle, at Cardinal. A clear, golden cider ith a diminishing white head. Some alcohol, quite heavy apple aroma, hints of cellar, and vinegar on the nose. Nice flavor with alcohol and lemony tartness, hints of vinegar and a good taste of apples and apple cores. Dry, warming and astringent. Apples, some alcohol and tartness in the finish. A lovely cider in my book, good tartness and really filled with apples. 090728 leaparsons (4755), Leicester, Leicestershire, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 15, 2005 Golden/yellow and cloudy. Aromas are apple juice with spices and wood. Flavours are apples with earthiness and wood. Some sourness is present to liven things up. Beware the hidden alcohol. A very good bottled cider.
