Gwatkin Thorn Perry

Bottle from Oakchurch Farm Shop, Staunton on Wye, Herefordshire, consumed 04-10-09 Pours for all the world looking like a nice Sauvignon Blanc. Much like the aforementioned wine this was a rather crisp little number. Wine like in flavour, with just the merest hint of sweetness, really clean. If you gave this to a white wine drinker you may just convert them, its good stuff. A7 A4 F7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle. Pale straw in colour, still. Aromas are crisp pear with vinegar and citrus. More pineapple than I would expect. Flavours are crisp and dry (not in the cooking oil sense). Light pear and white grape with puckering tart citrus. Acidic on the finish with light barnyard notes. Good.
