dirt55 (44), Washington, USA May 16, 2008 nice bottle, surprisingly clear pour considering it’s a hefeweissen, very basic flavor that was light on the tounge and the lingering taste wasn’t something I appreciated, pretty basic beer
Allen (592), Wölflinswil, Switzerland Aug 29, 2008 Bottled 50cl. It pours a hazy yellow beer with a white head - pretty stable- Dissaponting nose, slightly stale... a hint of compost? Some marmite sneaking in. Sweet taste. Nothing special. Acidic. Some soy sauce? Poor finish. Definately not a good Hefeweizen. yespr (6364), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 7, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a collapsing white head. Mild banana and more pronounced orange fruity ester aroma. Flavour is mild ester fruity with a light yeasty touch. Mild orange fruity lingering finish with a mild wheat note. theisti (1045), Leawood, Kansas, USA Jul 15, 2008 500 ml swing top bottle, courtesy of bvc. Pour is very cloudy, soupy, hazy orange brown. Snow white one inch head that leaves behind nice lace. Aroma of banana, cloves and yeasty goodness. Very much a Hefe nose. Taste is big on wheat and ripe banana fruit. The clove spiciness comes in during the finish. Palate is medium but really drinkable. Nice one. Thanks Brandon! spagyetti (68), Puyallup, Washington, USA Jun 30, 2008 Bottle. A little watery too bad. It seems to have all the right ingredients, just not the combination. Nice bottle. riversideAK (1579), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jun 12, 2008 Hazy pale yellow with a nice soapy white head and lacing. Aroma is light with clove and banana. Flavors of light fruitiness, a little yeast, wheat in the finish. Light with medium carbonation. A little lemon in there as well. Basic. Would be nice on a hot day.
