madquacker (512), Canberra ACT, Australia Dec 7, 2007 Deep orange and alot of bitterness for a light beer. I did not think this was too bad for its class. Not much of a head though but alot of bitterness. ALLOVATE (1127), Perth, Australia Dec 11, 2004 Updated: Jul 8, 2005I must admit I cringe at even the thought of drinking a ’free’ light beer from a mates house, which played on me when I bought this, myself, from ’Con’s case place’ in Balcatta. Poured a clear pale straw with a thin soapy white head. Aroma of lightly sour grassy hops and husky gritty malt, quickly lost its pizazz as I quaffed my first mouthful. Flavour seemed balanced, malt driven with a light bitterness in the back and feint fruity esters across the palate. Slightly yeasty with a light body and a short dry aftertaste. Little complexity, but not a bad beer overall for a ’Light’. bluevegie (1802), Perth, Australia Jul 6, 2004 Pale orange/golden colour witha compact short lasting white head. Slight malt aroma. Pleasant bitterness but a bit watery and a touch of lemon. Overall not a lot flavour but I like the bitterness for a light beer. mutant (839), Melbourne, Australia Dec 17, 2003 I admit I overpraised the full strength version of this because it was sweet and malty and suited my palate at the time. This light also smells sweet but has no flavour at all. A dry finish like club soda. A waste even at 98 cents, like other light beers. Sully (1362), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia Nov 21, 2003 Geez, the full strength version got a 1.5. This is half as good. What's 50% of crap?
