detroitsteel (209), Greater London, England Jun 16, 2007 Berlin Trip beer No. 22. On draft. A wonderfull deep, dark burgendy red. Large loose tan head. Plenty of caramel, roasted nuts and wheat sweetness. A very long burnt finish. Out of the few largly thin, watery dunkels I had in Berlin this was by far the best. Its still a little on the thin side, but has some good flavours and a rounded feel to it. I would recommend this one. bierkoning (4917), La Tropica, Netherlands Oct 24, 2002 Caramel and a bit of roasted malt. Clean and fresh, goes down well. Just a bit thin. Gets better and better as it warmes up. Beloved Beer (277), Oceanside, California, USA Jul 19, 2002 a bit thin. but i would venture to say its better than becks dark
