Not bad. yespr (6162), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 19, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Mild grainy to dry cornish aroma. Dry cornish and mild biscuit malty flavour. Light bitterness coming through. Ends medium dry and light malty a decent balance. Jukkabro (2349), Tampere, Finland Apr 9, 2008 (BBE 1/08) Golden colored with big white head. Sweet and somehow herbal caramelly aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is crispier with high carbonation, still this grainy caramel also here slightly present. Hints of cardboard can be found, aftertaste dries with some esters. MiP (4927), Flensburg, Germany Jul 10, 2007 Bottle, 4.7%. Clear golden colour. No head. The flavour is like any other substandard cheap lager. MoritzF (3690), Ruhrpott, Germany Jun 10, 2007 (bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet, slightly perfumed malty nose with herbal and light-grassy hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, soft mouthfeel. Mild malty taste with strong herbal hops, which is rather uncommon, at least for a Helles; moderately bitter and slim finish with sweet malt in the aftertaste.
North-German, hoppy interpretation of a southern style. Unfortunately the hops were pretty cheap.
