Commercial Description:
This beer is our version of a strong palish Belgian Saison. We have chosen to give this beer a pale and light profile and let the yeast display its full spicy flavors. We have also added some coriander for more complexity. This will develop some tartness given the time.

Bottle @ home. Golden color. Mango in the soft aroma. Dusty, alcoholic flavor with melon and mango, continuing in the aftertaste, that also has an alcohol burn. Just a bit disappointing, though certainly not bad.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow, massive white head, decent lacing. Aroma is belgian yeast, spices, coriander most prominent, citrus hops, apricot and bread. The same notes return in the flavour, with more banana and spices. Alcohol is there, but not distracting much from the flavours. Lively carbonated, medium body.

Bottle@Home. Nice sweetish citrus aroma with a hint of banana. Cloudy, yellow colour, off-white head, fair lace. Sweet, loads of citrus, light bitterness to bitter in the finish. Sparkling, full, soft, light alcoholic. Flavourful, easy going although alcoholic, lovely.

50 cl bottle, batch 193, at home. Golden and a bit hazy body, large but disappering white head. Aroma is fruity with yeast and spices. Flavor is spicy and fruity, with yeast and some hops. A touch of alcohol. Nice, but a bit raw.

500ml bottle, batch 179, shared with Ross. Served chilled at Bar and Cigar, downtown Oslo. Loose, white head mostly disappearing over a cloudy orange body. A fairly fruity aroma greets you with sappy apples and sweet banana. Quite zesty taste with sappy fruits and emerging spicy hops towards a smooth bitter end. Clove spice on the palate. Well bodied. Perhaps a bit too sweet [22.01.2009].
