Commercial Description:
This beer is our version of a strong palish Belgian Saison. We have chosen to give this beer a pale and light profile and let the yeast display its full spicy flavors. We have also added some coriander for more complexity. This will develop some tartness given the time.

Bottle at KØ07. Milky orange colour. Sweet coriander flavour, quite yeasty and quite peppery. Spicy, but a little disappointing.

Rating above is only the more modern one. Bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki, Svenska Dagar 2006).
After the pop thick plumes of CO2 pour out of the bottle. Characteristic white/wheat smell - possibly Belgian, maybe German. Tastes sickly and alcoholic, not as refined as brewed down south. (7-2-5-2-8=2.6)
Rerate: Bottle (Alko) - batch 234 (7-3-6-4-13=3.3)
On pouring, a beautiful fruity aroma, peaches aplenty. On pouring, it’s more of a traditional wheaty aroma. Crisp carbonation, slightly vegetal retronasals. Has hints of its strength when swallowed, but certainly not boozy, and covers the 8% very well. Refreshing even. Anna particularly thought it was a tasty one that fitted in well after the sauna. Taste fairly simple, mostly the light grainy body, but this comes into its own in the finish where there’s a beautiful peppery and sticky green hoppy finish. So even if the taste underwhelmed, the final memory is a positive one. Note - I poured this completely clear, and had rinsed the bottle before thinking about topping it up.

Bottle, 500 ml. Batch # 9. Very fizzy and sparkling . Huge frothy, short-lived white head. Unclear golden/orange color. Nice acidic fruit aroma. Also yeast and mild spices. Slight sweet flavors of ripe fruits, with notes of yeast. Decent hopbitterness. Lively mouthfeel. Lingering, dry finish. Very nice from the good people at Haandbryggeriet...

Bottled@Konttori, Tampere. Hazy golden colour, huge white fluffy head. Aroma is enormously acidic fruity and earthy. Flavour is grass, earth and very sour fruits. Not pleasant.

Bottled, Svenska Dagar, Pikkulintu, Finland. On one hand (heh, check picture) there’s a lot of fruity flavour, but something chemical disturbs it. Soap maybe? Very hazy, golden honey colour. In the taste there’s fresh fruit and flowery tones. A bit of alcohol in the finish, which lovers the grade a bit.
