Commercial Description:
This beer is our version of a strong palish Belgian Saison. We have chosen to give this beer a pale and light profile and let the yeast display its full spicy flavors. We have also added some coriander for more complexity. This will develop some tartness given the time.

Bottled. Hazy golden coloured with a medium sized head. Yeasty with notes of different kinds of fruit - such as banana abd oranges. A bit piney and too high carbonated.

Bottled. Hazy golden with huge white head. Fruity aroma of banana, sweet oranges, yeast and red apple-skins. Fruity and lively flavour of oranges, white bread and spices with a light alcohol note. Oranges and apple-slin in the yeasty and peppery aftertaste. The best from Haandbryggeriet so far.

500 ml bottle. Tall creamy white head. Hazy white golden. Lots of carbonation as is common with beers from this brewery. Crisp prickling fruity flavour. Very much like a Duvel, but far from as clean. Medicinal tablet aroma with a little yeast thrown in. Some malts can be found, but it is rather unsatisfying with it comes to the aroma. Little hops to be found. Finishes lightly fruity and a little dry.

Bottle at the Beer Palace, Oslo. Clear golden colour with a huge white head. Nose is yeasty and spicy with hints of banana and clove. Initially sweet, potent eastiness, complex flavours of fruit and spices. Sparkling, warming alcohol, medium-bodied. The best from Haandbryggeriet.

500 ml bottle (#9). Hazy orange color, quite pale. Huge, creamy white head with big bubbles. Aroma is fruity with coriander and overripe bananas, and something else? Rich, sweet, fruity taste. Lots of ester. Aftertaste is kind of surprisingly bitter. Interesting and complex beer, but I think one bottle is enough for the evening. Tasted again one year later. The maturing was good for this beer. Same score, but I could for sure have a few more of this at the same evening.

Bottled. (#6) Hazy, orange and sparkling beer with an off-white head. The aroma is fruity and spicey, with banana, coriander and some bubble-gum notes. The flavor has sweetness, banana, a light hoppiness and coriander. A really pleasant beer with a sparkling mouthfeel. Rating: 7-4-8-4-16-3.9. (060225)

Bottle. (#179) It pours an unclear orange body with a nice, creamy white head. The nose has a nice blend of fruityness and spices, with banana, some lemon, spices and a pleasant alcohol touch. Quite sparkling in the mouth, maybe a bit thinner than expected, but with a pleasant warmth from the alcohol. Easy to drink, with flavors of banana, some lightly sour citrus notes, a touch of coriander and a balancing hops. Quite sweet too. Nice bitterness towards the finish. There’s also a touch of bubble-gum all the way. Delicious. (081209)
