| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 25, 2005 Big creamy head, cloudy dirty orange body. Lovely, firm aroma of licorice (?) with a faintly sourish tinge to it. Recognize the taste as typically Belgian, even if I struggle to describe it. Taste is likewise deep and very powerful, quite spicy, and aftertaste is likewise spicy. Paradise seeds? Probably coriander. Lots of hops in the taste, but can’t recognize what variety. Too much carbonation, unfortunately. Very good Belgian, even if slightly one-dimensional. ThomasE (5178), Copenhagen, Denmark
