Commercial Description:
This beer is our version of a strong palish Belgian Saison. We have chosen to give this beer a pale and light profile and let the yeast display its full spicy flavors. We have also added some coriander for more complexity. This will develop some tartness given the time.

Bottle conditioned, RBESG 2005, Grand Tasting (courtesy of the brewery). Golden colour, low head. Yeasty aroma, notes of fruits (esp. raisins) and oak, flavour is oaky and raisiny with a certain alcoholic punch. Not bad at all.

Bottle at Beer Palace, Oslo. 99 kronor!! Despite the price I really enjoyed this blonde. It is really sweet, citrusy. With lime and pineapple flavours. Very tangy and crisp. A bit spicy too. Underrated.

Bottled. (#6) Hazy, orange and sparkling beer with an off-white head. The aroma is fruity and spicey, with banana, coriander and some bubble-gum notes. The flavor has sweetness, banana, a light hoppiness and coriander. A really pleasant beer with a sparkling mouthfeel. Rating: 7-4-8-4-16-3.9. (060225)

Bottle. (#179) It pours an unclear orange body with a nice, creamy white head. The nose has a nice blend of fruityness and spices, with banana, some lemon, spices and a pleasant alcohol touch. Quite sparkling in the mouth, maybe a bit thinner than expected, but with a pleasant warmth from the alcohol. Easy to drink, with flavors of banana, some lightly sour citrus notes, a touch of coriander and a balancing hops. Quite sweet too. Nice bitterness towards the finish. There’s also a touch of bubble-gum all the way. Delicious. (081209)

Bottle at RBESG Grand Tasting 05. Strong, slightly appley aroma, with dough and icing sugar. Very hazy yellow, small fuzz on top. Flavour is quite strong on the fnish, some cider, quite peppery and tart. Thick and full flavoured.

(Bottled) Hazy golden with a smallish, firm and lacy head. Aroma of pale malt, grassy hops, fruitiness, and hints of acidity - reminds me of La Chouffe. Very fruity flavor with mild coriander-spiciness, some yeast, and mellow, grassy-bitter hops. Medium body with foamy but soft carbonation. A very nice La Chouffe clone, and one of the best beers from this brewery. Certainly underrated here (at least when in shape).
