| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 9, 2008 Bottle, 4.5%. Coriander aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Small white head. Sweetish coriander flavour, not very Bavarian? And not a lot of citrus to balance it. But I still like it. Seems to have a tiny bit of plastic, but not a problem. yngwie (5017), Kristiansand, Norway
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 9, 2008 Bottle. It pours a hazy, golden-orange body with a medium sized head. Low for the style, and also not as hazy as usual. Quite mild aroma with the usual banana, citrus and cloves, and a grainy touch. The yeast is quite subdued, and there’s a weak phenolic note. A bit thin and low on carbonation, with flavors of sweet fruityness, banana mostly, with a touch of yellow apples, citrus and some cloves. The finish is the best part, where the hops are more evident, and blend in nicely with the banana, citrus and cloves. After a while, it turns out the carbonation is as it should be, wonder why it felt so much flatter initially. Considering it’s quite low alcohol level (damn those Norwegian alcohol laws), it’s not bad at all, with good drinkability and quenching qualities. Could still use a more pronounced aroma, and especially flavor. (080909)
