(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of KnutAlbert. Hazy pale golden with a small, white head. Sweetish and almost perfumy nose with a whiff of coriander. Light-bodied with sweetish fruit and spicy accents and a light, dry finish. Fresh and quaffable. 120908

Bottle at EBF 08. Thanks to KnutAlbert. Cloudy pale gold, soapy lemon aroma. REally good fruit. It’s got great tangerine, kiwi, satsuma flavours. Stunningly good.

Good one to have with autumn/winter meat dishes such as lamb. Good caracter, but very low in aroma and palate. Pale colour. Not too bavarian to me.

Bottled at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Cloudy mustard yellow. Spicy nose with a mere touch of banana. Sweet with clean, somewhat spritzy mouthfeel. Light-medium bodied, a slight bit sharp with restrained wheat flavours. No bitterness. beers with this clean mouthfeel does not work overly well as refreshers.

From bottle @ EBF 2008. Blonde, cloudy. Citrus and a hint of vinegar in the aroma. Grassy, citric flavor. Refreshing.

Bottle, 4.5%. Coriander aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Small white head. Sweetish coriander flavour, not very Bavarian? And not a lot of citrus to balance it. But I still like it. Seems to have a tiny bit of plastic, but not a problem.

Bottle. It pours a hazy, golden-orange body with a medium sized head. Low for the style, and also not as hazy as usual. Quite mild aroma with the usual banana, citrus and cloves, and a grainy touch. The yeast is quite subdued, and there’s a weak phenolic note. A bit thin and low on carbonation, with flavors of sweet fruityness, banana mostly, with a touch of yellow apples, citrus and some cloves. The finish is the best part, where the hops are more evident, and blend in nicely with the banana, citrus and cloves. After a while, it turns out the carbonation is as it should be, wonder why it felt so much flatter initially. Considering it’s quite low alcohol level (damn those Norwegian alcohol laws), it’s not bad at all, with good drinkability and quenching qualities. Could still use a more pronounced aroma, and especially flavor. (080909)
