Bottle from Meny, Lorenskog. Pours hazy golden orange with white head. Fresh coriander and wheat notes. Good sweetness balanced with citrussy palate. Not overcarbonated like most weizens. Great for those hot summernights...

Bottle at EBF 08. Thanks to KnutAlbert. Cloudy pale gold, soapy lemon aroma. REally good fruit. It’s got great tangerine, kiwi, satsuma flavours. Stunningly good.

Medium coarseish white head does not last. Hazy opaque yellow body with vigorous carbonation. Powerful herbal, yeasty aroma with mealy, spicy notes and a fruity citric edge. Peppery floral hops as well. Complex, harmonic, and balanced. Dry herbal, spicy, yeasty taste with fruity citric notes. Dry mealy citric hoppy aftertaste with grapefruit notes. Taste is a bit edgy, mouthfeel is sharp (in bottle, on cask it was soft and smooth), and body mid. One of the better weizens I’ve had, since it’s not a typical weizen at all. (0.5l bottle, batch #151, ICA Supermarked, Oslo. Also rated once from cask at Bar & Cigar, Oslo.)

500 ml bottle, bought at Maxi Stormarked, Sandnes. Batch 151. ABV is 4.5%. Cloudy yellow colour, big to moderate white head. Nice and strong yeasty aroma with spicy and herbal notes, hints of citrus. Spritzy mouthfeel, high level of carbonation. The flavour is also spicy, even peppery, but the yeast is a bit too dominant. Still a beer I’ll most likely buy again.

Light orange colour and hazy. Has a white head, fully lasting. Strong citrus notes, acid, herbs too, coriander. Soft flavor, sweet, acid too. Creamy texture. Like it.

Bottle, 4.5%. Coriander aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Small white head. Sweetish coriander flavour, not very Bavarian? And not a lot of citrus to balance it. But I still like it. Seems to have a tiny bit of plastic, but not a problem.

From bottle @ EBF 2008. Blonde, cloudy. Citrus and a hint of vinegar in the aroma. Grassy, citric flavor. Refreshing.

500 ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour. High carbonation level. Medium-sized coarse white head. Refreshing and crisp floral aroma with definite bready notes. Cloves are there, but no banana. Nice aroma. Fizzy. Light bodied, but with quite a bit of texture. Finishes slightly oily on the tongue. Overall a really nice weissbier that I’ll drink again.
