Bottle: Hazy yellow colour, flat foam. This was #1, from the brewery.Aroma of citrus, vine, fruitynes, and a nice bitternes in the end. Champagne , with all that taste that colould have, it had a bit thin-to medium body.but nice finish.

Refreshingly good weizen, lots of citrus and banana. Appealing smooth and lingering aftertaste - yeasty but that appeals to me too.

A bit dirty looking weissbier with a head, that faded quite quickly. Quite discreete aroma of wheats and yeast. Flavour is fairly breadlike with a touch of citrus fruits. Best thing about this is definetely the body. Very round and smooth.

During a weekend in late March I decided to try some of the beers from the Norwegian brewery Haandbryggeriet. A porter, a weissbier and an IPA were available. Weizen on 500ml bottle. Batch 1, bb. autumn 2006. Opens with a good shot followed by some smoke. Golden and very clear (a bit unusual appearance.for a wheat beer). And the sediments stay in the bottom. Fading foam disappearing completely. A fresh smell of fruit. Medium mouthful, but too much carboned. Sweet citrus flavour with light hints of acid. Perhaps a bit too sweet. Yeasty ending.

Pours unclear golden with a thin off-white head. Dominating wheat malt aroma with notes of fruit and yeast and a soapy edge. Wheat, yeast and citrus flavor with banana hints. Soft and easy, but still quite flavorfull. Tones of white pepper. A bit watery towards the finish. A nice fruity wheat beer.

Bottled: Orange coloured. Very unclear. Dense white head. Spice, banana, citrus aroma. Flavour is acidic, spiced, yeasty and has notes of banana and chewing gum. Is medium bodied. Has a spiced and yeasty end.
