A big head of coarse lace atop dark yellow hazy body with bubble streamers. Sweet aroma of wheat malts and banana. Big, round taste of strong banana or chewing gum, with faintly bitter/dry finish. Some faint, refreshing sourness. Very nice and refreshing, with enough taste to make it interesting. Not the top weizen, but good.

Bottle. Decent, and quite authentic in taste. Some banana esters and clove, and some citrus in the finish. This finishes a bit too quickly though, but it was quite nice.

Spicy and refreshing, a great beer for a summer afternoon. Not refreshing in the ice beer/no taste sense, rather the opposite. A delicious aftertaste lingers in the mouth. The proper weissbier lemony flavour is present. I would say there is a hint more fruit in the taste, too – resembling peach or raspberry, perhaps – and it is very well balanced so the sweetness complements the citrus edge. 50 cl bottle and a alcohol content of 5,5%. http://beerblog.motime.com/post/482682

RBESG05: Gold with a white head. Banana and clove in nose. Grainy yet still quite tasty. A little bland overall but quite quaffable.

Bottled at RBESG. Golden colour. Aroma of banana and caramel. Sweet with rounded mouthfeel, restrained fruitiness. Despite it’s esters it feels straightforward, but also refreshing and pleasant.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, amber golden - very dark (almost Schneiderish) for a German wheat - almost no head. Lots of lovely fruit esters - citrus in particular. Quite soft and pleasant, but a bit too carbonated. 120805

Bottle. Yellow colour with a white head. Horsblanket aroma and a sweet light banana taste. Medium body and a sweet finish.
