Mar 15, 2009 Bottle. Poured a very hazy orange color with plenty of carbonation. Aroma was citrusy orange with plenty of hops. Flavor was syrupy sweet, grassy, some vanilla, orange and nice lingering flavor and bitterness. A well done beer, but will probably won’t buy anytime soon again due to price.

Mar 14, 2009 Wow this is a good IPA. I may prefer this to Mikkellers Stateside? Could be fun to have them side by side.
It is a bit hazy, but beautiful orangelike colour.
Nose is good IPA, just as it is supposed to be.
Very very creamy. More creamy than Stateside.
One of my favorit beers.

Mar 13, 2009 Bottle. Slightly unclear brown body. Medium sized off white fluffy head. Heavy hoppy aroma. Almost a little too much? The aroma is almost metallic, or like wood at times. Lots of fresh fruits. Complex flavour. Fruity at first, then more bitter. Hints of coffee near the end, lasting bitter finish with som fruity sweetness, due to the alcohol I guess. Mar 10, 2009 Batch 150 of "Dobbel Dram" brewed 05.04.08: prominent whiskey note at first; cloudy copper body with off-white, somewhat soapy head, and fair lacing; spicy flavor with notes of day-old fruits; smooth; good, however, I don’t consider this an IPA/IIPA as I’m familiar with the West Coast examples.

Mar 4, 2009 Pours dark orange with a nice creamy white head. Lovely aroma of oranges and caramel malts. That’s also pretty much what it tastes like. The hops are toned down, the sweet caramel malt gets more spotlight. Not as bitter as I’d expected by far. Fairly light body. Easily drinkable, but nothing spectacular.

Mar 1, 2009 Crushed with Jakebra. Smells like a foot soaked in hops. Flavor is about exactly the same. Bottle says best before 2011. I find that hard to believe. Not much to offer but nast and nast hops.

Feb 22, 2009 batch 150. brewed 5/4/08. a thick appearance for this 2ipa with a murky dark orange color and a large cream colored head. tons of tiny slow moving bubbles. spicy hop aroma with touches of white pepper, pineapple, and mandarin orange. flavor of canned peach syrup, caramel malts with a boozy finish. full bodied.
