A muddy brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by caramel, but also contains some lesser notes of wheat. The flavor is wheaty combined with caramel, and is slightly roasted. The mouthfeel is very carbonated. I’ve had better Dunkelweizens, but thanks to Haandbryggeriet for supplying this to RBESG.

(Bottle 50 cl) Very unclear brown with a small, off-white head. Lots of yeast in the aroma. Very malty and full-bodied, soft and delicate. Nice all right, 120805

Bottled at RBESG. Very muddy pale brown. Banana aroma. Sweet and roasty with some caramel. Dryish lightly salty finish. Pleasant, unusally refreshing dunkelweizen.

Bottled. at RBESG 2005. Hazy brown coloured with an off white head. Fruity aroma with notes of caramel. Fizzy mouthfeel. Aroma of malts with fruity notes.

(RBESG05, 50cl bottle) Off-white head atop a cloudy dark brown body. Aroma is medium sweet, wheat, some banana. Taste is medium sweet, wheat, light banana, caramel. Light-medium body.

Hazy brown, small tanned head. Smokey weizen nose. Crisp, citrusy, roasted and wheaty. Balanced example of this style. for such a new brewery, very clean brew.

Bottle. Muddy brown colour with a big baige head. Yeasty banana aroma and a sweet light caramel banana taste. Medium body and a light sweet finish.

Bottle. I thought this was pretty good. Better than their regular weizen. Some chocolate and caramel, with some yeasty banana esters, clove as usual, refreshing, slightly tart character.
